HOARDING AND ITS EFFECTS

WHY DO THEY HOARD AND WHAT DO THEY HOARD?

hoarding is a delicate issue to discuss and very difficult to comprehend but from my understanding i will say hoarding is a pattern of behavior that is characterized by the excessive acquisition and inability or unwillingness to discard large quantities of objects that would seemingly qualify as useless or without  any values.there are different kinds of hoarders e.g.compulsive hoarding,book hoarding,animal hoarding e.t.c.

It is not clear, if hoarding is an isolated disorder, or rather a symptom of another condition, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder. It is rated to be more in adults, and is greater in older adults than younger groups, in men versus women.The factors associated with the disorder include alcohol dependence as well as loss of loved ones especially due to death or divorce, and obsessive-compulsive traits.people who have suffered an emotional trauma or a brain injury often find house cleaning an insurmountable task,thereby turning there house to "Gabage Can".

The effect of hoarding behavior has been associated with health risks, impaired functioning, economic burden, and adverse effects on friends and family members. hoarding can prevent typical uses of space so as to limit activities such as cooking, cleaning, moving through the house, and sleeping. It can also be dangerous if it puts the individual or others at risk for fire, falling, poor sanitation, and other health concerns

Doris, lived with her 2 children, aged between 1 and 28, and described her current hoarding behavior as a 'small problem that mushroomed' many years ago, along with corresponding marital difficulties. with the exception of the bathroom, none of the rooms in the house could easily be used for their intended purpose. Entry to the house was through the garage and the kitchen.

ANIMAL OR PETS DAYCARE

DO PETS OR ANIMALS NEED DAYCARE OR NOT?

SOMETIMES I SAY TO MY SELF,COULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO HAVE DAYCARE FOR PETS OR NOT?, AND I USE TO WONDER WHY SOME PEOPLE TAKE THERE PETS ON A LONG JOURNEY,WHEN THEY COULD ACTUALLY KEEP THEM SOMEWHERE, IN MANY CASES SOME PEOPLE WHO HAVE RELATIVES WHO CAN, DO ASK THEM TO COME OVER TO THEIR PLACE AND TAKE CARE OF THEIR MANY PETS UNTIL THEY COME BACK.

I HAVE SEEN CASES WHERE PEOPLE CANCEL THERE TRAVELS, ESPECIALLY IF THERE IS NOBODY TO HANDLE THEIR PETS FOR THEM ,UNLESS THEY HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF LODGING THEM IN HOTELS THAT PERMIT PETS,THEN THEY TAKE THEM ALONG.

I THOUGHT TO MYSELF,IF PEOPLE CAN GO TO SO MUCH TROUBLE IN MAKING SURE THERE PETS ARE HAPPY, WHICH IS RIGHT, THEN IS IT NOT BETTER TO HAVE DAYCARE FOR PETS/ANIMALS WHERE  THEY CAN TAKE THEM TO?. THERE WILL DEFINITELY BE CHALLENGES ON HOW TO HANDLE AND MANAGE PETS FOR DAYCARE PURPOSE, FORTUNATELY CHANGING OF DIAPERS  IS NOT NECESSARY BUT, MORE INTERESTING THINGS CAN BE DONE LIKE FEEDING,TAKING THEM OUT ON A WALK,EXERCISE THEM,SHOW THEM LOVE AND ATTENTION AND PEEING THEM.

WHAT A NEW YEAR'S EVE

A WONDERFUL EVE

IT WAS A VERY LONG DAY, BUT INTERESTING ONE TOO,WE WERE JUST CONTEMPLATING ON WHAT TO DO FOR THE YEAR ENDING ,BUT MY BRAIN WAS SPINNING AROUND THINKING OF WHAT TO DO,THEN IT DAWNED ON ME THAT WE HAVE TO TAKE THE DOG OUT TO THE VETERINARY FOR GROOMING.

WE WENT VISITING A FRIEND,WHO WAS VERY HAPPY SEEING US AND WE LATTER DECIDED ON GOING TO HAVE SOME FUN AT THE BUFFET,BUT THE THOUGHT OF EATING MADE MY STOMACH TO BE VERY YUMMY AND MY MOUTH WAS SO WATERY AND MY STOMACH WAS CRYING AND MAKING A LOT OF NOISE , BUT IT WAS A LOT OF FUN SEEING A LOT OF PEOPLE AT THE RESTAURANT AND THE WHOLE PLACE WAS FULL OF HUSTLING AND BUSTLING,THAT I WAS SO EXCITED, BECAUSE IT'S NOT ALWAYS THAT BUSY AND AFTER THE BUFFET, WE WERE AT THE MOVIE THEATRE  WATCHING OUR EYES OUT AND HAVING A LOT OF FUN.

THE MOVIE WAS VERY EXCEPTIONAL, BUT MORE EXCEPTIONAL WAS AT THE BAR AND A LOT OF DANCING AND LISTENING TO MUSIC. IT REALLY WAS A LOVELY EVENING AND I WISH THE NEW YEAR EVE WILL NEVER END,JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT,I WISH FOR MORE OF SUCH IN THE COMING YEAR ESPECIALLY FOR THE EXCITEMENT THAT CAME WITH IT, WHEN THINKING OF ENTERING A NEW AND WONDERFUL YEAR.
